Overview:
This is a 4-part course designed to help academic trainees understand the basic principles of study design, critical appraisal, research governance and medical writing in
experimental research.
Learning outcomes: At the end of this course, candidates will
- Understand the different types of study design
- Learn the principles of protocol writing
- Become aware of authorship rules and research governance
- Recognise critical appraisal criteria by study design
- Develop medical writing and editing skills
- Learn best practices for journal selection, submission and revisions

The course will be delivered over a total of 8 hours (4 Modules, 2 hours each)
