Practical part of the clinical courses in the 6th year
Options of completing the practical part of the clinical courses in the sixth year of the General Medicine study programme at a hospital other than the University Hospital Pilsen
The practical part of the clinical courses in the sixth year can be completed at a hospital other than the University Hospital Pilsen under the following conditions:
1) The student must be enrolled in the sixth year of study, i.e. he/she must have fulfilled the fifth- year requirements and paid the tution fee for the sixth year.
2) The practical part must be completed in an accredited teaching hospital and must be approved beforehand by the head of the appropriate department of the University Hospital Pilsen.
3) During the course the student must perform or observe all procedures as specified in the student´s log-book.
4) The successful completion of the course and fulfillment of the requirements must be confirmed by the responsible authority of the hospital concerned.
The request for permission to complete the practical part of the clinical courses at a hospital other than the University Hospital Pilsen must be submitted, together with the approval of the Head of the Department concerned, to the Department for Medical Studies in English on the official application form available at www.lfp.cuni.cz/sekce/136-actual-study-information.html.
